Are You Ready For School?    

 

Preparing your child for school is a big undertaking.  There are some great resources below to help parents and their children get ready for school.  A great way to start is by borrowing books and toys from the our Library catalog to make learning even more fun.

Here are sites to help make the transition to Kindergarten a little easier for Parents:

Gives parents ideas to share with children and a way to search for book ideas by age & subject. 

Ohio Department of Education Resources  
Resources from the Department of Education to help you get your student prepared for Kindergarten.

Ohio Department of Education Preschool Development 
Learn what your student should know before Kindergarten. Topics include the early learning content standards for preschools, child development from birth to age 5, and the importance of early learning for families.
