Noelle Akin from Pettiti Garden Centers will not only introduce you to exciting new plant varieties, but will also increase your awareness of new garden pests and how to take care of them. Attend and you may go home with new plant material for your 2012 garden. Monday, May 21st, 7 p.m. Registration requested.
Enjoy the music of acoustic guitarist Rick Iacoboni as he plays interpretations of many of the Beatles most popular songs. Hear the fascinating stories behind the Beatles' influences, how the songs were written and little-known facts about how they were recorded. Tuesday, May 22nd, 7 p.m. Registration requested.

Renovated in 2009 to provide more pleasant surroundings for its customers, the Berea Branch contains a wide range of materials – from best sellers to classics to compact discs, videos and DVDs, books-on-tape, and an excellent selection of popular periodicals. The branch also has two meeting rooms available for use by non-profit groups, computer terminals providing access to the Internet and many electronic databases, and a room for quiet study. Programs are also offered for all age groups.

The most popular non-fiction subjects at Berea Branch are arranged, in Dewey Decimal Order, in "subject neighborhoods" such as "Home & Garden", " Health & Recreation" and "Business & Technology" which includes "Travel", with other subjects in the "Rest of the Story."
About Berea computers
The purpose of the Friends of Berea Branch Library is to provide volunteer assistance to the library staff and to raise money which is used to support activities at the branch and to purchase items needed by the library. Funds are raised by annual dues and trhough book sales. Berea's Friends sponsors our annual holiday program, many of the big children's summer specials, and other successful programs throughout the year.
